Shiny, textured hair by a genius new pilus styling product, R+Co Bays

I've been loving a picayune texture lately.

"A niggling texture," she says, as her pilus expands into the firmament, LOL!

No, seriously! I've been into spraying a texturizing spray on my pilus lately (mid-shaft) to kind of rough it up and brand information technology await more voluminous (hopefully) and windswept, in that merely-stepped-off the runway way.

Just the matter almost texture sprays is that virtually of them don't practise squat for polish. About are matte, so if y'all want shiny AND tousled hair, you have to add a separate shiny product (usually an oil), just that can so weigh downward your pilus, thereby defeating the whole purpose of using a texturizing/volumizing spray in the first place.

OH, THE HORROR!

R+Co (pronounced "R and Co") is a hair intendance line I'm totally obsessed with at the moment (I arraign my hairstylist friend Alis, who lives, breathes and sleeps hair, for telling me that "This line is amazing, and their products will change your life."), and they figured out a fashion to add good texture and shine in the same production with their new R+Co Trophy Shine + Texture Spray.

First identify winner!

You get lovely, tousled, windswept action, along with a healthy dose of shine (that doesn't look greasy). The product has clay in it for texture, and sugariness almond oil for shine, and it's $29 for a bottle…which hurts and then good, but like all of the R+Co products I've tried, it'southward amazeballs.

You could say that I'm a footling enthusiastic about this spray (merely a little)…

Use it on freshly washed hair (slightly damp) before air or estrus drying, or apply it on dry hair before or later styling. I commonly do a few sprays on my pilus when it's dry subsequently curling with an iron. Then I spray a little on the mid-shaft section and go layer past layer. Then I rough up the waves by scrunching them with my fingers.

Hither's a helpful how-to video

Trophy has a peachy "memory" (quote, unquote), too, and information technology'll remember where your hair bends and curls are, so, equally you go nearly your twenty-four hour period and your hair gets mussed upwardly, it'll remember (in a matter of speaking) how you styled it before and return to that shape.

Bays lifts my waves, roughs up the strands for some cool-girl tousling, and keeps my hair looking healthy and shiny all day long.

And did I mention that it smells like expensive perfume (similar all R+Co products)? This one smells like coconut and roses to me — a weird-sounding philharmonic, yeah, only I think it works.

UGH! So obsessed.

Here's what I've been marathoning lately

It'south a Peachy show on Netflix called The Final Kingdom, and information technology's most Vikings…

Well, 1 particular Viking, merely he doesn't kickoff out as a Viking. He starts out every bit the son of an English nobleman, but then he gets captured by Vikings and made into their slave, only then he wins them over with his boyish, warrior charm and joins the Viking clan.

Anyway, his name is Uhtred, and he rocks the one-half-upwards, one-half-downward man bun similar you've never seen it rocked earlier.

Seriously, though, the show is similar Game of Thrones without the dragons. Great action and graphic symbol development. Give information technology a go next time yous're in the mood for Vikings and/or historical run a risk.
